The New York Times reports that Hamid Karzai, the president of Afghanistan, took time out on Saturday to condemn an American airstrike that he says claimed the lives of at least 95 Afghanis in a village in the western part of the landlocked nation.
According to Karzai, the airstrike, which took place on Friday, also killed as many as 50 children.
