I'm drafting out a new book, as yet untitled, about what it is like to live with Asperger's Syndrome(which I have) and I'm using my blog to run first drafts of sections of it. Second drafts are being moved HERE. This post is one of those draft posts, expect more to show up over time.~Who Is Affected by Autism?~In one word: me. I have Asperger's Syndrome, a type of Autism. I think you are brave to be so upfront about AS,and it will help everyone with a similar situation,by getting info out there, dispelling myths about autism and AS.
I've been learning about it due to a friend getting her official diagnosis, and think many more people have it than statistics show at present.

A little over a year ago I was first introduced to Asperger's Syndrome and since then I have met three people that are afflicted...

I can sympathize with your struggle. To me it seems like the most difficult part to overcome is the social aspect of the disease... but then again, I don't suffer from it so I don't really know...

My point is... Good job for taking the mystery out of a disease that affects more people then we know!

This is interesting. My son also has Asperger's Syndrom and we haven't found an accurate accounting of what it is like yet. Sounds like you are doing a good job. Thanks!

close your eyes,,think about what you really wish in your life and think that yo udon't have this or anyother kind od illness,,do it and when you feel those words open ur eyes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
