Prince of Persia Classic on XBLA, what? No turban!? email this discussion to a friend?

That is what I never understood with game music makers. Why use metal instead of grunge for a character that shows his dark side? Grunge has sick guitar riffs and the lead singers can actually sing instead of just yelling gibberish.

The more modern look should be an extra or something. Why ditch the original graphics all together. the animations have aged well and still look pretty fluid after all this time.

The controls were stiff, that is the best way to describe it. If you want to show someone what games used to be like in terms of controls and difficulty level, GnG, and Prince of Pershia, Would be prime examples.
