In my culture(both American and Jamaican) there is a word that is being thrown around. Black, white and latino alike have been known to use the n-word. Even I have fallen victim to it. Everyone knows the history behind the word, but it has become so in your face that people don't even take notice. Is it possible that a word can change meaning over the years? And if this is so, why is it if you even dare to utter this word in front of our elders, they look at you as if you just cursed God...
