Not cat related, but dog related....our family has had 2 Siberian Huskeys within the last 3 years. Both of them have left - and left us broken hearted. Especially my youngest, who was the chief owner of both. In spite of every article we read before we spent the money for either one of these runaways, and in spite of what our vet warned us about this particular breed and the fact that they are bred for the Ididarod so therefore they want to run without looking-subject then to the possiblity of becoming a greasy spot in the middle of the highway. But probably one of the saddest cicumstances surrounding them both being gone is the fact that they left our one male dog without a girlfriend. When Alaska ran away the first time, I would sit on the back step and Shadow would come up and crawl-literally-up my chest and lay his head on my shoulder and whine this sad whine-which made me cry along with him.
