I think making two films is a great idea. The books are so long, with so many plot points. I think the past 2 movies have been a bit short in fact and have missed out on things I would have really liked to see on film, I especially felt this way about the Order of the Pheonix. 2 movies means more attention to characters that we have been reading about for such a long time. It seems more fitting to end things in a more robust way.

The producer really showed evidence as to why it was artistically better to divide the film into two parts. It's not all about money and profits. Especially if Ms. Rowling's for it, this Harry fan is down!
