Resveratrol, a compound found in grapes and red wine, might help with age-related maladies, according to Reuters, by providing heart benefits, enabling stronger bones and preventing eye cataracts; researchers said on Thursday.
The study was led by Rafael de Cabo, unit chief of the laboratory of experimental gerontology at the National Institute on Aging in Baltimore, who also worked with David A. Sinclair, of Harvard Medical School.
