Can XP be administered as a client by NT Server ..... | | Can XP be administered as a client by NT Server or can Xp and NT interoperate in peer-peer network mode? i am the IT engineer in an organisation where there is a programm that can only run under NT environment. Now a new PC has just been bought which runs XP and there is the need to have the second Pc run a copy of the same programm but with the NT administering it, therefore I need to link both so that the NT would administer or control the application usage by the XP user. Therefore I wish to know/ find out if NT Server can administer an XP workstation\client or can the NT and XP interoperate only under a peer-peer network environment sharing files and other resources with no one acting as the server. Can I have the Xp run as a client under NT Server or Workstation? Help me!
