Business Ideas to Make More MONEY!!!  |

 As I wrote in a post earlier today I am considering giving up my full time job for a part time one and supplementing that income by working from home as I used to.
But now I have a different dilemma.
My brain is so bombarded with a zillion and one different business ideas that I dont know which to focus on. In the past I had my finger in so many pies and they all made reasonable money but I kow if I had of concentrated on one stream I could have made EXCEPTIONAL money. But which one?
What are your thoughts?
Expand my painting- selling on ebay, at my markets, get a website, etc etc... and maybe move into getting my designs printed/embroidered onto baby blankets, bibs, clothes. etc?
Start a childrens photography business that can use my home as a studio, or offer the option of travelling to peoples homes to photograph their babies/kids?
There are just so many others, those are the two I am probably most interested in...
Which one seems better to you and why? Which do you think would have a greater profit and why?

1.  kykidd (4555) | 3 years ago |  I think children's photography pays very well. My assistant has a 1 yr old and has had her pictures made and bought packages about 6 times already. Mostly all with the same photographer. They were not cheap either.
Here's the really unique idea they did for Easter. There were a few young ladies (sister-in-laws I think) who all had kids about the same age that wanted portraits made. She got a bunny and some chicks and had them all meet her at the park. Since they all knew each other there was no rush, no nervousness...quite a relaxed atmosphere. She took different pictures of the kids by themselves, with each other, with the animals. It worked out great.
I don't think you can go wrong with photography, especially once you start building a customer base.

Thats one of the reason i thought of giving people the opportunity of doing it in their own home, where there children are more likely to be relaxed. And i know how big a business it is, I myself get my sons portraits professionally done every 1-3 months. And it costs me an arm and a leg too. Ive only recently decided that I should be setting it up and doing it myself... my photography skills are good, but my camera is really low quality so I need to purchase a decent one... | |

I know someone who lives in china and makes quite a lot of money from publishing his photos via the WWW. The WWW is a great tool to make money, no matter what your proffesion is.
The best thing is, you can earn money from a website, and keep doing whatever it is you do - having a website and doing children photography can be done toghether and increase your income greatly...
I congratulate you for wanting to be independent - it is the best way to become funancialy free.

| 5. healthymom (773) | 3 years ago |  I would say go with the photography option. It seems here in the US it is a profitable thing for those who do it. If your photos are professional, and your style is a little differnt than everyone elses, you have an edge.
I would definitely have a website to go with it, I don't k now if you already have active websites but I thought this was a great option and could make you some money at the same time: http://website.ws/kvmlm2/... You can view a movie through this and see what it's all about.
I do have a site, but it's very simple and I'm far from done with it. There are lots of options though.

I like the baby blankets and stuff.. you could create a market for that and really make a name for yourself, and I also like the photgraphy... going to people's homes and shooting them. Way back in the 50's that used to be done a lot. My mom had my brother and me in a photo shoot at our home.

KrauseHome (13413) | 3 years ago |  Well, if you choose just one thing that could be a Great way to add additional income, but a lot of times anymore it is great to have a couple of different things going on to make extra money. I know I would Love to cut back to 4 days a week myself at work sometimes. Just need to find a way to make enough to suppliment for what I would loose from that one day a week if I did.
