My kitty called Ginger | | I named my cat and her brother after Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (Fred and Ginger). Their other sister was named Smokey for no other reason than her colour (my sister named her). Two sisters and a brother (much like our family) given birth to in the top shelve of my sister's closet. Try calming a teenager who is about to have her best jerseys possibly spoilt and helping a very young mother whilst clinging to the shelve for support for a life experience. Fred dissappeared a few years ago, Smokey ran away and their mother died in a freak accident involving a garage door. So Ginger is left. I love my little tabby that chases all the fairies in my house. It use to be her and her brother and I think he use to protect her as well because these days she gets frightened easily by something I can not see. Sometimes she comes running in to hide, sometimes she is frightened, sometimes she will stare for hours at something going up and down and quite often she just chases something throughout the house. I am glad that she has friends (that moves with us wherever we go) and I do not believe that I need to clear my house in anyway, although I am a little worried about that which she is frightened of. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had the same type of experience with their cats?

Cats run away a lot less if they are fixed and if you keep them inside there will be no more freak accidents with garage doors - my roomie's folks had a cat that was injured by a garage door - he dissappeared last year - I think a wild dog got him, now they have a strickly inside cat.
We don't call those invisible things fairies, & I'm not sure they are good, I think she must "watch" the good ones & chase the bad ones. Probably one of the bad ones got her & now she's scared of that kind of bad one.

keda69 (2123) | 3 years ago | That would be cool. It's always nice to hear about the interesting names that people decide on for their pets. I think one could start a phsycological department based onit, like people that analyse your handwriting.

keda69 (2123) | 3 years ago | I do not think she would take to kindly to that. Chances are she would just ignore it and hten I would have to entertain her friend. LOL.
She is like an only child.
