Do you wash your dishes after you have finished you eating..???

I dont wash the dishes i mom does all that stuff i do it only if she is not feeling well or if she is ways

I try to do the dishes right away but sometimes I just feel like relaxing. The bad part about not doing them right away is they get harder to clean the longer they sit. I don't mind washing them I just hate to dry and put away. They often just sit in the dish rack until I use them again.

normally i fill the sink up with hot water.... then when all the family has finished their food......i get the kids to take the plates out and put them in the sink to soak.... and i will do them later.....

as if you are anything like us.... after we finished our dinner.....meat/veg and all the trimmings and gravy..... we just feel like flaking out on the chair.....

If we have hot water I will usually wash the dishes rather than leave them sitting to pile up in the sink. We don't always have hot water, though, so on those occassions it can become quuite a large pile before anythig is done about them.

No, I do not wash the dishes after I eat. I usually wait until the next day to wash them. I get lazy after I eat, so I just sit back and relax.

I do the dishes as soon as we are done eating. I made a vow to always keep an empty sink and it really has helped me to keep other chores done too. If I wait then I often put it off till morning. I hate waking to dirty dishes.

Well for me it depends a lot. Sometimes I'm really tired, and I just want to forget that I even have dishes to wash... Other times I just had a really good meal and I just want to get everything cleaned up to go to rest, other times I just wash the dishes to avoid to start studying... Well and there are times where I can get my boyfriend to do the dishes, in those days I just stay in the kitchen and relax while he does it, usually I stay there watching TV...

My wife does the cooking and I do washing. I normally wash the dishes straight after eating. I don't really like to see a sink full of dirty plates. Sometimes though if I'm in a hurry to go to work in the morning, I leave all the breakfast dishes soaked up in the sink until I get back home. But I do wash them as soon as I get back home. It is kind of addictive because if I go to my parent's house or my brother or sister's house I also tend to wash the dishes. I suppose its just automatic to what I'm used to doing.

I scrape off the plates and throw them in the dishwasher. Then at about 10pm when there's no more to go in it, I turn it on. The hubby empties it the following morning.
