What do you like about 30 Rock?  |

 I just noticed that only 34 people list 30 Rock as an interest, which seems pretty low in my opinion. Even if it's a new show, I love it and wish other people would enjoy it too. Otherwise, I'm afraid it will end up being canceled.
On to the point of this discussion, what do I like about 30 Rock. First and foremost, Alec Baldwin. This man is a comic genius. His deliver and timing is perfect. I like Tina Fey too, but Baldwin seems to steal the show every time. The supporting cast is excellent as well, making this show an ensemble which I always enjoy (thus my love of Arrested Development). Main main hope is that the show gets renewed next season. Actually, I should probably go check up on that. Maybe it already has.

2.  Idlewild (4483) | 2 years ago |  I don't watch it regularly, but I think it's pretty funny. I'll probably go back and watch some of the episodes online, since it's one of the shows thatyou can view on the Web anytime. Alec Baldwin is great, and the rest of the cast is very funny too. I hope it comes back for another season, it gets good reviews but not a big audience from what I've heard.

Tina Fey is the writer and it's supposed to be based on behind the scenes of Saturday Night Live. Can you imagine being around all those comics? That would be my dream job. I'd be in hysterics all day!
And yes it has been renewed! Alec Baldwin is trying to get out of his contract due to his family issues, but the execs aren't accepting it. So we'll see how that plays out.

The whole cast is just superb (esp. obviously Tina Fey [shout out to "Mean Girls" lol]) I'm so glad it got a second season with the not-so-great amount of viewers that tuned in for the first. I have yet to really get a chance to watch it though, with my new busy schdule, but have managed to catch a episode here and there and it appears to still have it's touch.

| 8. msulli22 (33) | 7 months ago | Alec Baldwin is amazing. He finally seems to have found his perfect part. I've seen him in a lot of the other things he's done over the years, but it never seems to quite fit. 30 Rock is perfect for him. He can play the quirkiness of the character so well!
Tina Fey is great, too, carrying off the "pretty ugly" girl thing even though she is actually gorgeous. You actually believe that she is awkward and weird looking on the show, but it's not like she's wearing an Ugly Betty disguise like America Ferrera
The whole cast is perfect for their roles. Kenny... wow, they couldn't have found anyone better. And, Tracey Morgan does "insane" perfectly for Tracey Jordan. I love it every time he does something ridiculous. | |
