Who also plays the tinwhistle/penny whistle here?

Hi fellow Corrs fans! I was just wondering if some of you also have become enamored of learning to play those Irish Whistles that Andrea plays in some of their songs. Two years ago, I asked a cousin of mine to bring some home when she visits from the USA and last year I asked my sister in law to bring me several more. I now have a collection of about 20 different kinds and am enjoying playing along a lot of the Corrs' songs, especially the instrumental ones. I am so glad to have discovered a musical instrument that is soooo easy to learn and guess what, even my kids enjoy playing their own tinwhistles.
Nowadays, whenever I watch any Corrs video, the whistles are almost always beside me so I can play along when a tune I know comes up. It makes watching more fun!

Even i a managed to getr one and really enkoy playing it. teh instrumental ones are really really great. I have one therefore my songs which i can play are limited (D scale).
teh best thing about it is that if you have a good sense of timing you can play it because it is so easy.

Hi Brightsea! That's nice to know :) May I ask what's the name of your whistle? Yup, the instrumental Corrs songs are so great, I so love accompanying Silver Strand most of all.
The Eb and Bb whistles go well great with When the Stars God Blue, My Heart will Go On (Andrea with Celine Dion), Ooh Lala (Corrs with Rod Stewart) and I Know My Love (Corrs with the Chieftains). But basically, the D whistle does well with most Corrs songs. Happy playing! :)
