pick up  | |  In numerous parts of the Bible the Lord makes it clear that even though we have to 'pick up the cross and follow Him', it does not mean we must have a countenance of gloom and doom. We are told to be of good cheer, be glad. The question is, how are you able to do this in your own life when everything else seems to point towards no hope?
