Maybe some scented items. A burner, tarts, and tealights? Bring something she can USE for her house.

Open house, is that about the same as a House warming gift? What about a real nice house plant? I love plants, and I love to give them too. Or a picture to go on the wall of a pretty scenery. Or maybe you can ask around and see if there is something they need? And if they do not need anything, something baked will be good too, like banana nut bread, a pie, what ever you like to bake.....good luck hun!! Have fun!= )

I am thinking that maybe you can bring a nice piece of framed artwork for their new home. I am sure they would love to have a new piece of art on their walls. You could also get them a couple bottles of wine, if they like wine. That is nice that your friend invited you to their new home. When I bought my townhouse, my friends brought me a football player statue for my backyard. You could maybe get them a statue or some kind of decoration for their home.

I think flowers are always nice unless she is allergic.

I think a nice bottle of wine, or if your friend prefers non alcoholic then a nice non alc. bottle of something or flowers as they will always dress up a new place and be appreciated. A nice pot plant works well too!

You can get her anything that she might need like cadlestick scented candles,and some figurines any thing that she may like and to remember her friend that gave it to her on a open house which we call it house warming here. Good luck in finding something.

You can buy some paintings or vase. A new house is normally still very much empty. But please check out your friend's taste first. You would want to buy something the she likes or the color that she likes.
