What's the BigNews in your Country!

Well, right now the big news here in Romania is abeyance by our Parliament of our President, Traian Basescu (it happend yesterday afternoon). It's an abuse based on political ground.
In fact, yesterday evening i was in Piata Universitatii, which is our symbol of freedom and democracy, in the center of Bucharest (capital of Romania), also called Km. 0, along with a large mass of people to show our support to our president, whom which we really appreciate for its dedication and integrity.

Here in the US is the Virgina Tech shootings of 33 people. It's on every station right now and probably will be for a few more weeks or so.

In my state of South Australia, the big news is the drought. If the drought doesn't break in 6 weeks time, we are going to Level 5 restrictions. This will mean no watering of gardens, no washing of cars, & for the irrigators of the Murray river, it will mean no irrigation. That will many of our rice farms & fruit orchards will due.

Here in China, the big news is the stock price tumbled yesterday, and almost slip back today. It is a false alarm for the stockholder.

The most important news in Sri Lanka today is the world cup cricket tournament of 2007. Sri Lanka is already in the Semi Finals, and only two more matches out of which one is going on right now are left. People have forgotten everything else at the moment.
