I am a new driver I can say.I want to buy one car which I will drive only me.I have decided to buy an automatic car without using the four gears.I find it much easier than the traditional one with the gears.
My family has objections.They say that I will never be a good driver if I drive an automatic car.
Also that I will never be as safe as in the gear car.
I would appreciate your opinion a lot.I want to buy the automatic one.What do you think?

| 3. bigpoppa0609 (23) | 2 years ago | in my opinion it would be really convenient for you to drive an automatic one if the area you live in is always traffic congested. its easier but it consumes more gas. on the other hand getting a manually powered car gives you the real feel of driving ala fast and the furious if your into car racing. it gives a different satisfying feeling when you shift gears and feel the power of the car. if your not much of a car enthusiast and would just purchase one for use on your daily commute a nice automatic will do just fine. | |

4.  Manjyot (1012) | 1 year ago |  Well,I can drive both of them .Automatic transmission cars are much more easier to drive than the manual ones.Automatic cars are good for cities which have heavy traffic so you don't need to get
the gears changed.the only negative the automatic cars have is that they are more expensive than others.Manual gear cars are fun to drive and one must know how to drive them and if one knows how to drive manual gear cars then the person can also easily drive automatic ones.So i give 60-40 to manual gear cars!

5.  sandys (2084) | 1 year ago |  Its easy to drive with automatic transmission.But it wastes a lot of fuel.Manual transmission is very efficient becoz of the gear mechanism.It also permits you to control torque independently of acceleration, which is an essential ingredient to driving control.I, however, prefer to have the control that allows me to avoid potentially dangerous situations that automatics are helpless in.
