ms access is quite simple for develop database management. it does not need much ability in programming. just make a table and wizardly make a form and report.

I used MS Access for my final year project in university. I agree that it's simple to use, but I think it's less powerful and functionality.

For a simple system, I'd prefer to use say, Visual Basic to develop the application, and link to MS Access as the database. Most of us already installed Microsoft Office, MS Access is already included, so it's quite convenient for us to use MS Access as our database.
