Holes on posters & banners!!!!  | |  We see plenty of ‘banners’ made from cloth or polystyrene sheets, which stretch across the road at some reasonable height. Similarly, the so called ‘sigh-posts’ on the road sides are either made from metallic sheet or at times hard-boards. But, one thing, the banners and the posts have ‘holes’ on them . People think that the holes are made, so that even if stolen, they can not be put to any right use. Will you please tell me what for these are there? Please discuss.

| | 2.  genuinesqueak (219) | 1 year ago |  I agree with Kalyani, i believe they are there so that air and wind can pass through the sign, because if there wasn't any holes in the signs or banners, they would create a bigger surface area for the wind, and the wind would more than likely blow them away!
