How's Your Sports Team Doing?  |

|  My hapless baseball team has now won three games in a row. Last night the closing pitcher almost blew the game -- as oft happens lol. If he had blown it, the fans would have assassinated him, I am sure of it.
Anyway, I am in a state of the proverbial "shock and awe." Three games, wow! I don't say who my team is because they are cursed enough already.

| |  hello,cremecheese,I think I know which team you are talking about. I used to watch baseball when i am young as my brother is a sports fanatic,therefor,i still know a bit about sports in north american, I also have a favourite team in major league,it is the atlanta braves,it was a sad years for the braves fans last year as their winning formula did not work anymore, but it seems that they are back on track this year.:)

| |  LOL I live outside Philadelphia and we don't know what it feels like to have a team here do well. Last time was 25 or 30 years ago. You get used to it and cheer for them anyway and hope they will astound you and come up with a championship.

| |  Well I sport "arsenal" a english football club and we haven't been doing as well as I though, we're not doing to bad but it's a few spaces down from where we normally are. (which is 1st and 2nd)
I'm happy though, because I'm not a glory fan :D

| |  Its been a mixed bag for my team, Southampton football club. Relegated 2 years ago we currently sit just one point outside the playoffs with just 2 games to go, its going to go right down to the wire! Hopefully in a few weeks we will be back in the premiership and kicking some Arsenal Arse

Unfortunately, my little girls softball team has lost all 4 games...but they always get ice cream after the game. LOL!
My little boys team has lost 2 and won 2!
Makes for interesting dinner conversation? Well..my team (put in your most hurtful taunt here) and your team didn't!

| | I hate to see friends' little girls teams lose. My little girl is 37 now, lol, but she recently joined the softball team of the company she works for. She's not an athlete but thought it would be some laughs and help her get to know people. She hasn't been working there very long.
And my Giants actually won a fourth game in a row. So the closer hasn't totally blown it for a couple nights in a row, that game ended 1 - 0 lol. I didn't see the game, but his usual style is to walk everybody till the bases are loaded, thereby giving all the fans heart attacks. *Then* the game is either saved or the next batter gets a grand slam, lol. | | | |
