A Superman Themed Birthday Party!

I need suggestions on how to make a superman themed party. My son is turning 1 year old this coming May and I want to make it really fun! I already bought a superman Piñata, candies and other stuffs to fill it in. Other suggestions? Do you know any games that the children will enjoy that has something to do with superman? Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks!

Buy some cheap fabric and make capes for the children. Maybe you can have them paint or decorate their capes. Some masks could be cool too, they always have those for cheap at the craft store.

well, try to get your son a superman costume too..:) and try to tell the moms of the kids coming over that they could wear other costumes other tha superman so that your son will be the onl superman on his birthday! superman party hats and loot bag! also put red and blue banners all over the place to match the theme! good luck to your son's party. hope he is gonna have a real memorable bday!:)

Have you thought about playing 'pin the cape on superman?' If you sketch a Superman figure, (kind of sideways) and then cut out some capes that should be fun! Of course, I don't know if it is appropriate for a 1-year old. If you used felt, felt sticks to felt.
