Best friend could not have a child, will you help?

I would if I had good health. It's hard for me to have a child of my own as it is. I think surrogacy is a wonderful gift and it takes a real strong woman to do that.

No I wouldn't but I would encourage her to adopt a child.

You mean a surrogate mother.This all depend up several factors. I don't know how many will help out.

It would really be a hard decision I would really want to the bad part is having to hand over a child that you have carried for 9 months felt it grow saw its first sonagrams felt the first kick even though the child would not be biologically yours it would be hard to give them up on the other hand you would be doing a wonderful thing helping someone to have a baby that couldn't do it on their own. I thing in the end I would end up doing it as I have two beautiful children of my own and had natural drug free child birth with both of them.

No, I wouldn't. As much as I would like to be able to help my friend, I know that I become VERY attached to children while I am carrying them. I could never carry a child for nine months and not come to think of it as my own. It would be impossible for me to carry it, give birth, and then hand it over to another couple to raise.

If I was younger and not on medication I would.I had my one and only child when I was 36 and I LOVED being pregnant.No morning sickness and it was the best I had ever felt.

I really wish i coul say yes but i don't think i could do it - i don't think i could give birth to a baby only to have it given to someone else.
I think it would be too hard for me to deal with.
I think adoption would be the best option, there are so many children out there that are in desperate need of a loving family & if you cant have kids of your own, that would be a wonderful gift for both yourself & the adopted baby.
I'm sure many women would like to be surrogate parents but i'm not sure i could handle the final part where it has grown inside of me, but i couldn't raise it myself - as my own.
Anyone who could or would do it, i think you are wonderful because you definitely are stronger than i am & have a heart of gold!

If I felt that this person would make a good parent, then yes I would.

If it was my best friend and she asked me to, I would do it in a second. Being pregnant isn't easy and I'm just rounding out my 3rd tour of pregnancy, but for her I would do it. I know how special it feels to hold your child for the first time.

After having 2 kids of my own and the connection between a mother and a child don't know how anyone can do it. The pain you go thru just to have one is enough. Even if she is my best friend I could never give up my own child to give to someone else. It is my own flesh and blood I don't know how anyone does it. I think it would be hard to say no but I would have to for my own sake.
