Happy Earth Day, April 22nd

Tomorrow, April 22nd is Earth Day in Canada, the USA, and in many other countries as well. Earth Day began to make us all aware of the environment we live in, how we can protect it, and at the same time celebrate its beauty.

You don’t have to attend any events to celebrate this day, but I’ve added links that you can check in case you would like to. My husband and I will be helping pick up litter at a local park, and there will be refreshments served afterwards.

Yes we have a plan to celebrate this earth day. First of all let me tell you its already 22nd of april here in India. Now our plan is that we will visit our village today that's about 100 kilometers from here and will plant a lots and lots of plants in the way, taking a few kids from our society with us to make them understand the importance of such days and it is sunday so we will celebrate the weekend at the end.

That is very interesting. There are some tree planting events here too. I think it's great that the kids are involved as they learn at a young age to appreciate our environment. Thanks for sharing how you celebrate Earth Day in India.

It's good to remember our Earth. It's even more important to remember why we must not destroy it. We only have this one, the only one. More events should be organized on more days throughout the year to remind people, such as the recent Live Earth concert. Maybe not much has been achieved by the concert but it is a good eye opener.
