Dorm check was a scam

It is so easy to get scammed by clowns because they can hide behind their computers and nobody knows who they are.

I think it is time that the internet was somehow regulated and when someone starts up a site there must be full disclosure.

Everyone should know who they are, what there telephone number is and exactly where they live.

I have heard a lot about dormcheck from other users here saying they have received big bucks from dormcheck. This is in fact my first time to hear that it is not giving you good service, and that the site is a scam. I had been very curious in the past about this site and also wanted to join it but never got around to doing that. Hearing you say that it is a scam makes me conclude that I've made the right decision not to get too curious. LOL . I am happy with Mylot the way it is. It does not pay much, it is true. But it is as sure as the sun.

I was a member of dorm check I found it too hard to navigate and never posted there TG! I just typed in their addy and got a page saying this:

Dorm Check is down for updates

Please check your email. Dorm Check will no longer be a paying forum, due to more than a few members cheating the system. An email was sent to all members explaining the situation in full.

Expect DC to be back up within a week.

So I don't know what they are doing with their site now but I did hear that some of their users were copying and pasting discussions from here!

yes and i believe that they were a scam too!i signed up there one day and i didnt' know nothing about the site and i just asked a simple question about the site,and one of the modorators name deba with a few numbers by the name messaged me and said,"there is a rule post only for discussions containing about this site,if you do not know how to use the forum site rule links,than you will be banned from this site!"and i messaged bach to the B*TCH
and said,"well,why will i be banned for just because i ask a question about this site on here?i thought that's how you get paid here at this site".and do you know what the B*TCH said back?"well,if you do not know how to read the rules,than i will personally have you banned from this site"!and that was the last time i messaged the B*TCH.and after that,some other modorator came back later and messaged me on one of my posts!saying that i was being rude just because i asked on there "where do i get my payouts here on dorm check"? and said that i was being rude!GREAT SCOTT!IF THAT'S BEING RUDE,THAN WHAT THE F*CK DO THEY THINK THEY ARE DOING?
so i quit going there for almost a month now and i just hate that website.they are hateful B*TCHES there and i just dont like it there at all and never will go back there again.thanks for the post buddy as this site does piss me off!i'll never go back there again and i am going to try to have that site shut down for good!

I don't really agree with you on this. I don't think DormCheck was a scam. It closed down, but they have sent e-mails to all memebers asking for PayPal addresses so that they can send out the money that people earned before they closed. I am a member and I can vouch for this because I just responded to that e-mail. Also, there were other ways for DormCheck to be paid. They had a great PPC section through which members could earn a decent amount of cash just by clicking for a few minutes each day (great idea for myLot by the way), so they obviously eanred money thorugh the people who paid to have sites clicked on. As for competition, I'm not sure that was the case. Neither of these sites can really compete with each other because they are not places where you can earn big bucks. I'm sure most of the members here have other sites they use to earn money, and that DormCheck was a very popular one with the members of myLot as it paid the same way that myLot did.

i tried accessing the site but it is nowhere to be found now. i signed up about three weeks ago but not that active. i doubted already before that this site wouldn't work since they got fewer members that time not even reaching 150 people.

The moderator mommiemoney was a psycho. He is going to get someone sued one day. You can't go around calling people pedofiles on websites and not live with the consequences.

Yes I paid for 3months gold star membership, but because I had a fight with their very rude moderator on her treatment of people from some countries who the little money earnt there meant so much and all they were doing ws asking questions and only got abuse from this woman, well I guess because I had this fight I guess I have done the $10 I invested, I am putting that down to a lesson paid for...never again, but I bet anything that woman will be heading into Mylot now that her tin badge has now gone rusty.....DormCheck makes MYlot look so good....

I joined that site and didn't like it from the beging it just didn't feel right to me. So I didn't get scammed. I figured they were trying to compete with my lot but my lot is a much better site.
