Dorm check was a scam

I think these guys do this to get their traffic rating up so they can sell advertising to others. Not to compete. I bet they could care less other than making money. It is why most people do things.

But the Google only ads should have been a red flag to everyone. Although they were not encouraging you to click, I don't know if Google would approve of it.

How long was the site in operation? Google probably caught on and confiscated their earnings so they couldn't pay you.*I am giving them the benefit of the doubt because I have never been to the site and would like to think people have good intentions and would have paid you.

I only post on MyLot. It really isn't worth my time to do it for money. I like it.

I am soo very upset with this that I about cried..then i wanted to call him up and b#tch lol..but if he is gonan be nice and give people what they are owed..well then i will be sad..but not too bad..I have $25 and change i have saved up.. i wanted to get my son this track that $35..for his Bday coming up..and i was gonna use that..but ya know..i knew this was gonna happen..there was no professional anything there,,the mods were rude and mean..and there was no reason for it..they cash out tooks weeks..and i dont knwo why..because mylot is on time every month...so why could he be right? i wil lmiss that site because i really liked it..but i gues its just another slap in teh face to why leave somethign as good as this site? nothing else is better..nothing!

Is DormCheck really and comformed scam??? If what do you said here are truth, I think I also was scamed by them. They want every user click on their sponsor on their site. For what?? My Lot don't ask their user to do like that. I feel very stupid because I join DormCheck and still now I've make about more than 700 post and get $8.10 for my earning. But, what I know is lot of user that have limit the minimum payout did'nt get their payment. At that time I only think they are in money problem and about a few week later they did'nt pay their user yet.

i joined dormck=heck. let me tell u i also thought that its a scam. there is noone that u can catch also. may be they opened it to earn sometihing themseleves. i really don't believe these sites.

Well I was a member on that site but I wasnt very active and I really dont kno what happened,a friend of mine got paid by them so in a way they are not scam but something went wrong..

Seems like we are all somewhat victims of that site..Sorry to hear it..but his terms and conditions already set out that he would not be held to paying "anyone at anytime" When I saw that I got out and made a unsuccessful attempt to show people

I was a mod there..as afranciscan..but was quickly shooed away since I took the part of posters..since in essence we were all posters..whether in the red or black..

The fact that he had those terms from the start indicated he never intended his paying forum for long..now he is selling and has been selling banner impressions to Dormcheck..saying he gets over 100,000 page impressions a day..

Now ebayers are next to experience what we have..I feel bad for them!!

I did join but only made three or four posts. The place made no sense to me. It was an akward system and I couldn't navigate it at all. I am glad I never got involved because I am hearing that they are no longer paying and now you say it was a scam.

I never signed up for this coz I never saw any actuall proof that anyone ever got paid. However there are so many sites that are nothing but scams, and usually it takes time to find out. I was not sure on mylot either in the beginning, howveer I fought hard to reach payout the first month. I did and i got paid. that was all the proof I needed=)
