I saw a breautiful cloud dragon in the sky today, what have you seen?

It is great when you see angels, isn't it? What is the very best cloud shape you ever saw, and where was it?

What a shame, you have seen such wonderful shapes in the sky before. Maybe you could watch from the window? Even the storm clouds form great shapes sometimes, with the darker and less dark greys. The things I see most often are poodles, I think because the fluffy clouds sort of lend themselves to it.

I will try to look more but we really dont have many cloudy days most of the time

That is a shame. Maybe though you are busier than I am and do not have the time I have to "wool gather" as we call it and daydream and cloud watch?

You do have wonderful mountains you can go to though, so that is nice too.

Wow! That is absolutely brilliant, I wish I had seen that one! Do you ever photograph the clouds? I can't because quite frankly I am very bad with a camera, but some of the pictures I have seen have been brilliant.

I often sit under a tree out near the woods and watch them, but I saw those from my son's back garden.

That sounds a lovely way to watch the clouds. We are hoping to have some garden furniture this year so maybe I shall be able to do the same:-)

Yes... that's another way, but I like to sit with my back against a tree... particularly an oak tree. Am I eccentric?:-p

Probably, but there is a lot to be said for eccentrics, we make the world go round, so we do! As to an oak tree, they are usually very old by the time they are substantial so there is all that history while you are watching, I think it is rather nice:-)

One of the folk names for the Oak is Duir. This word from the Sanskrit 'Dwr' and meaning 'door', indicates the door to the Three Worlds of the Shaman. So, now do you see the significance of my choice?;-)

Oh yes! And thank you for that piece of knowledge, which as a writer I find very interesting and useful. As to the door to three worlds, which were they? I think when I go day dreaming I go through lots of worlds, rather like the top of the Faraway Tree (Enid Blyton) but I don't know about the three worlds.

The Three Worlds of the Shaman are the three worlds of the spirit... middle world, upper world and lower world.

In a healing ritual he most often travels to the Middle world to receive information about the people, animals and plants which are relevant to the patient?s condition, while the Lower world is accessed to ascertain the origins of the disease, or in cases where bits of the patient?s soul have been stolen. The Upper world is accessed only in the most dire cases, such a deathly illness, and where he negotiates with the gods directly to restore the patient to health.

oops! can't give best response, already done it, so obviously no insult to previous best responder. I just have learned lots and lots and lots here.

I think it is a bit of both. It is very rare for someone who does not appreciate the shapes and textures in the sky to actually see a nice formation, but if you are actually looking to see what you can see, I suppose your brain sort of supplies any little bits missing in the outline.

All I know is that it is a free hobby that can keep me amused for hours whilst I am waiting in the car whilst somebody goes shopping or on some other errand lol.

I find that a bit of cloud gazing lowers any tension I have acquired and makes me breathe more easily, as I relax and try to find lots of shapes to see, do you find that too, or are you too busy keeping an eye on the little fella to be able to relax?

Hahahahaha no he has actually got quite good on the Field now after his first little Game he now knows it so no more Disappearing acts lol

Well he does know if he does it again no more freedom he will have to stay on the Lead and I think that has sunk in lol

Careful, he will be leaving home if you keep that up, he is a superstar and expects and deserves the superstar treatment now, oh dear!

He has to know when to behave to even though he does try to fight that and thinks it is a Game

WOW! I would have loved to see that! To get the red and gold must have been a real bonus. Some beliefs would say that you saw a very lucky omen there, did anything extra fortunate happen afterwards?

Yes it was very lucky. I suppose these things happen all the time but that one time we were looking .
We are quite a lucky family so who knows?:)

Wow! You certainly have taken your cloud watching to a really high level (no pun intended). I watch the clouds for fun, relaxation and inspiration for my writing.

I think being the messenger has been a dream that has come true.. and they have used me through dreams and predictions, Signs in nature and animals to prevent tradegies or pass on messages that has save lives, and to me. Yes it is definately worth it.. As far as acheiving much for me.. well.. Not much for me in the physical world, but I know what is for me in the Great beyond so if I never achieve my goals and dreams here.. At least I know that I am going to an awesome indescrible place in the end, and that is comfortable. - DNatureofDTrain

I always wanted to see and do great things. I may have not made it to railroad work or anywhere else. But I have inspired many to do great things.. and watched others achieve their dreams because I was told by spirit to motivate them to try and they did... - DNatureofDTrain

motivators are just as creative as the doers. Without inspiration, encuoragement and motivation all genius is a bit wasted.
