Shear Genius -- Who's your favorite so far?  |

 I hope you guys are watching Shear Genius! I think it's one of the better shows Bravo has had. Much better than Top Design.
So who is everyone's favorite so far?
Mine is Tabatha. I love her. I think she's great with hair and seems to do well with whatever they throw at her. Like tonight when Tyson made her choose last and she still managed to make it into the top 3. She's amazing. I think she's definitely going to make it to the very end. At least I hope so. I also love her personality. I wish I could be more like her. She doesn't take crap from anyone and doesn't care if people don't like her.
I also like Evangalin. She's so cute. I think I like that she's a small town Southern girl. I also think she's excellent with hair. Tonight she won the competition and she was using hedge clippers! That's insane! I don't think anyone else on the show could've done that well with them.
I did like Tyson, but tonight he made me angry when they were sitting around and he was asking all of them why he should let them choose 2nd. He just seemed like cocky. And the haircut he did was awful too.
So who is everyone's favorite so far? And who do you think's going to make it to the end?

1.  AmbiePam (15242)  | 3 years ago |  Oh, good. Another poster who likes this show. I LOVE it! I never watched Project Runway or Top Design, but I thought I'd try out Shear Genius. Last night's episode was the most challenging. I don't think I would ever have picked the hedge clippers - maybe the box cutters.
My favorites are Evangelin, Daisy, and Tabatha. I'm surprised I liked Tabatha because normally arrogant people annoy me, but she has such a personality that I can't help but love her. Her face always looks painful though - her poor features are so tight.
I was glad to see Jim and Paul-Jean leave. Paul-Jean was creepy. Jim just plain old bombed that poor girl's hair. What I don't understand about Tyson, is how he can be a hair stylist with such awful hair himself? Plus, asking people to tell him why he should give them second choice was so high schoolish.
I don't know why, but the three I see standing in the end are Tabatha, Evangelin, and Anthony. I would like to see Evengelin or Daisy win, but when all is said and done, I think Tabatha will be called the ultimate 'Shear Genius.'

I was surprised that I like Tabatha too. I didn't like her during the first episode because she seemed SO arrogant when she got put in last place on the short cut. But she's grown on me and somehow become my favorite.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Anthony! There's something so charming about him! Maybe it's the accent. | |

Then I heard him talking solely to the camera and I thought, oh, he doesn't have an accent, it's just me. But then he'd talk to everyone else, and lo and behold the accent was back! I'm curious as to where he really is from. LOL | |

| jbrowsin66 (885) | 3 years ago | Seems I'm outnumbered here, but I do not like Tabitha at all! She IS arrogant and she doesn't seem to mind bad-mouthing the other contestants, which I think is in very poor taste. I think she should act in a more professional manner and clean up her mouth. | |

| AmbiePam (15242) | 3 years ago | Well, you aren't in the minority anymore. After the last episode, I have realized Tabatha is more juvenile than Evangelin was. She just disguises it with her intelligence and her coldness. I still somewhat like her, but not very much. I was very sorry to see Danna leave, because she was the only real professional woman left. And her hair style WAS the 40's, dead on. But it just wasn't pretty. I can't believe Tyson pulled his off. I think I would have cried if I had drawn the Elizabethan period. I would have picked the 20s to do if I had had a choice. What about you? | |

Too bad Ben and Anthony do not have a shot at winning it. Some finale.
They are having a final 4 cook off from series 1 and 2 Top Chef on June 6th. They have a new season as well.
