Where can I buy a photo album for digital photos? |
| |
| I use a digital camera to take photos. I like to print the best ones out and keep them in an album. But the size ratio of digital photos is different to the old film camera. I can find the standard (old) 6x4 inch and 7x5 inch format, but my prints are either 5x3.75 inch or 6x4.5 inch. I could resize them, but want to keep the photos asI have taken them. Where can I buy an album to fit them? | | | | | |

| | I think you should go to the paper company. I used to visit one and get various albums there. | | | | | | |

| | Maybe look at walmart or a craft store. They might have what you want. Or make your own. I put my pice on a piece of contact paper {like poster board} then I put them in shhet protectors and put in a binder. I think its more peronable this way. | | | | | | |

| | Digital photos are an odd size, the aspect ratio is 4:3 - a 4x6 photo has an aspect ratio of 3:2, so you sometimes need to crop your digital photo to fit them into a "standard" size album. Have you tried looking for square albums say 8x8 or 5x5 that dont have the little specified holes to put the photos in? Even something like a scrapbooking album. | | | | | | |

| | When you think about it, even standard film photos must be somewhat cropped because when you look at the ratios, they are different. 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 etc. However, you can take your photos at a different ratio (say you want to print all 4x6s) on some cameras. Might be a setting on yours if you're interested in that, look into it. | | | | | | |

| | I never had that problem. I use a digital camera for my pictures and when I print them out I have to tear the sides off and then they fit just fine. Do you have the special paper with the tear off ends? You can get it at wal-mart. | | | | | | |

| | what kind of camera are you using? There are programs that will allow you to keep the pictures just as you have taken them, but it will resize them to fit in albums. | | | | | | |
