Will The Pelosi/Reid Congress ever actually accomplish anything real?

What we have seen is what we will continue to see until Bush is out of office. These constant investigations and the resolutions are designed to keep the voters attention off of the work that is not being accomplished in Congress. They are also designed to cast the Bush Administration in a negative light in order to try and force their will upon him concerning Iraq. This is also an attempt to foster public opinion against the Republicans by trying to portray them as dishonest with all of these meaningless investigations in order to try and insure that they win the next round of elections. They are counting on the voters opinions about Iraq, their general lack of knowledge of the issues, and the blind animosity against Bush. All they have to do is keep the investigations going, and the anti-war and anti-Bush rhetoric flowing. What the hell is a non-binding resolution anyway? It does nothing but display disapproval of the way Bush is handling things, and it means nothing. It is only more symbolism with out substance, which is something the Democrats are masters at, and the stupid voters fall for it.

Truly interesting that you wrote this one year ago and still Pelosi and Reid have not done a thing they said they would do. Are we out of Iraq, no, even though it is with in their power to cut off funds to end this war. Congress is the one by the Constitution to make war and to fund war. How is that porkbarrel spending working out? Last time I checked you two have actually made pork bigger. What about those gas prices? While you two have been in power gas price has increased faster than when the Republican were in power. How is that commen sense plan to lower the price of gas working out? Great job at investigating baseball!
