| Why is it some people simply hate Dell computers?  | | | |  I personally hate them from an upgrade stand point. The bottom of the line ones don't offer very much as far as extra slots for add on cards.Also they don't use the universal atx power supply so if you need to replace it you have to order a special one.They also seem to be slow compared to the custom built gaming machines I'm use to.But they are fine if you want to check e-mail.

| |  I've had my Dell for over 3 years now and I really like it. I do a lot more than check e-mail but I'm not into gaming. We recently added a lot more memory which has made it almost like new again.

| |  If it's performance that you want why don't you go for the XPS systems they offer . XPS stands for extreme performance. And though it comes with an extra price they are high performers.
