It's Driving Me Crazy!!

*giggles* Well, that's what you get for not using your keyfinder thingy! I want one of those things, I've wanted one ever since I saw this movie called "Along Came Polly".=p

I lose my remote control every day. Which usually means Dusty has somehow gotten ahold of it, and it's usually somewhere among all his toys and stuff. It drives me nuts when I can't find it. You know, when I was a kid I used televisions all the time without a remote, and now it just seems impossible for me to do so! It's funny the silly little things that become really important to us!

I loose my remote all the time. It either ends up being stuck in the couch or under the table.

Sometimes we lose it too but it always ends up either in the couch or bathroom for some reason. But if we don't have it then we will do it manually. It gets annoying when we're trying to record something and the remote is found.

I lose my often as well it's just plain maddening. I usually either take it into another room with me, like the kitchen or something when I'm getting a drink or a snack. For the most part I usually find it stuck underneath the coushins in the couch or chair I'm sitting in, or underneath it on the floor.

Take a deep breath, let it out slowly, and then begin to retrace your steps...:)

When mine goes missing what I do is yell for Jake to come in and find it, and it has to be found before he can continue on with what he was doing. It usually gets found pretty quick.

I am like Lecanis though one of the babies has most of the time lost it among the toys.

Hello Transdisc. I always misplace and lose things. I not only go crazy but it gives me such a headache and I just have to stop thinking. Then I will retrace my steps and if it doesn't give me answers. I think of the most unlikely place it could be in. And you know what? I often find them in the most unlikely places. What could be the most unlikely place that control could have gone to? A bathrobe pocket? The ref? A pizza box? In someone's bag? In the trash? Dont want you to go any crazier than you already are. I have heard of (big) dogs swallowing things like this so keep an eye on yours that it's ok.

Yes it happened to me before too. But ultimately, I will find it. A remote control cannot stay hidden for long. Try the tucked in gap at the sofa (if you know what I mean) or behind cushions. These are the remote control's favorite location.

If you really cannot find it, see if you can buy one - those multi-purpose one.

We lose things around the house all the time. Usually my daughter is to blame....she will pick something up and either get distracted and put it down and forget she had it or she will put it where it doesn't belong and forget she put it there and yes it is maddening expecially since we can't find anything and our house is not cluttered she is just really good at losig things. The remotes usually end up under the cusions of the couch or under the couch or in the other room with the other remote that looks just like it (they are labeled #1 and #2 but who can remember which tv is #1? lol). But most things disappear because of DD.

Chances are its under the couch or chair or between the cushions of the couch or chair. Yes, i agree, it can be sooo maddening. We have sattellite TV here, and we cannot do anything without the remote. We need it just to see what on the tv right now. You sound like my sister, who called me yesterday. She has lost her cordless phone. The battery is so dead that the pager won't even work...so, she just assumes that she will find it sooner or later..prob got kicked uner the couch or somewhere. Godd luck. Just remeber that you are not alone in this quest. My parent have 2 remotes...one for her ond one for him.All hell breaks out when 1 is lost, even tough they have thew other to use. lol
