The Dragon and the Rabbit  |

 Once a long time ago in another world where animals could talk and live like we as people live today,Their was this great castle with walls of gold.It was so beautiful it shinned into heaven and the angels took notice.They loved to watch the animals live and wanted to see if the animals were able to love change and to be able to except someone different in their mist.A mighty dragon flew from the stars one night and soon was staying in the mighty forest near the golden castle.The forset animals ran back to the castle to tell their mighty king the loin taht a dragon was in their mist.Skin the color of red rage.Eyes the shade of green jeuolse.All the animals were afraid even though the dragon stayed in it's cave alone and sad.The animals thought it was mad with rage becuase they heard the dragon cry every night.The king loin to the animals to capature the mighty dragon and bring it to his thron so he could banish it forever.A small rabbit heard the news and even though he did not know the dragon he felt shame in his heart that his family and friends would try to kill another animal that they did not even know.He set off to warn the dragon afraid for his own safety.He got to the cave and stood before the door shaking.The dragon cried out so softly please do not hurt me.The rabbit hoped in the cave no longer afraid and wipped the tears from the dragon.Why do you cry asked the rabbit.Becuase I have no friends in this forest.My friends are the stars in the sky where I use to live and the angels use to ride on my back and I would take them to a place called heaven.The rabbit said why not just fly back into the sky.the dragon dropped her head and said before I can get my power back to fly home I must find love here on Earth.I must find someone who understands me to help believe in me for me to be able to go home.Belief and love is what I am made of.About that time the king his self enteredthe cave door and said out loud I followed you rabbit why have you come alone to the dragon.It's fire of breath alone could have killed you.the rabbit looked to the dragon and smiled and said in a soft voice this dragon is full of love and love does not destroy only hate destroys.this dragon is my friend.The loin looked to the dragon and said you have a friend in the rabbit and now you have a friend in me.You could have killed the rabbit but you did not harm him.you must be a kind dragon.This light flooded the dragon and the whole cave.A beautiful angel appeared on the dragon's back.the angel had the voice of music and singed his words now since youu have found peace and love in a animal unlike your self I will make you and your people in the form taht I am in.The loin looked at the beautiful angel and nodded his head.To be as beautiful as you are angel would be a blessing on me and my family.The angel waved his hand and the drgon took off with a sore to the sky.A twinkle among the stars was all left to be seen by the loin and the rabbit.When they woke up the next morning they was in the form of man.They could walk up right and hold things in their hands.They sent a kiss to heaven and the dragon caught it.If we could only open up our eyes to the poeple around us the love would help make us brighter we sore.We would change and be wiser,stronger,more beautiful.I hope you enjoyed my little story these words just came to mind.

I just loved this story and I think it would make a great childrens book on helping kids accept others as friends who are different and a story to show everyone can get along even if they are different. I hope you don't mind but my little 5 year old sister will love this I tell her stories of magical castles and princesses and unicorns all the time so I know she will love this one as I have. I wish everyone would was like in the story, alot of people don't even take the time to know others before judging them and casting them off without even trying. Thanks for the story you should submit it to a publisher.Seriously.

this is a good story. develop it. then ask someone to help you make something of it. once you have finalized it in a good form you can submit it to say, the reader's digest, or find a website which accepts stories, and make some money out of it. good luck. you are a good writer. make some more and find a way as to how to be earning from it. the plot you have here can be developed into a movie story, a cartoon movie. it must be a beautiful one. | |

I have a children's book I wrote for my kids when they were very small and it sits in their baby box, as I have no heart to put it out there. Same goes for my poetry. I always dreamed of becoming a writer too, but don't have the heart. You go for it, you have a great way with words!!

But this story of yours fascinated me. It is not a story for children only but for their mentors too. You are a gifted writer of stories.
