I don't know what to do!

Well it doesn't sound like you are getting anywhere, and it does sound like you may be out your ten dollars. But then again, you never know it could all be a coincidence that you are unable to reach her via the information people have given you. I would get in touch with the people who held the convention. They should have the names and addresses of the vendors who were there selling things. Unless you already did that, then I don't know what to tell you to do. I would just keep trying to contact you, hopefully she is a righteous woman who will make it right with you. If not, I guess I would let everyone who was involved with the convention know that way they don't have her back to sell to others, with running off and not allowing people to get in touch with her. I wouldn't go as far as saying she's a scam artist. Perhaps she decided to go out of business and is doing expos to sell off her remaining inventory. I would do as another person suggested and stop payment on the check, but some banks charge fees for that and if the fee is more than $10, it isn't really worth it. Do you know anyone who makes jewelry who could fix it for you? Otherwise, I'm afraid to say, it seems you are out the money on this one.

Sounds like your s.o.l., that's terrible that she's a member of your church and would do that. You can get necklaces repaired really cheap if they have one of those quick repair shops in your local mall. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your story, sometimes it happen if you bought stuff in the expo or something likes that, they sell stuff with bad quality, maybe you should try to fix it by yourself. The seller is do that because she knew that the product is not good. Or maybe you should wait to another expo and looking for her, but i'm not sure if she want to fix it or not.
