if you did something good to others,do you expect them to do the same thing?

I don't expect somebody to do the same for me because we all have different ways of doing things. Some would do the same and others wouldn't. I have said to someone when I have done something for them and they have tried to pay them. I tell them no just do the same for someone else and that will be pay enough for me. And yes I don't know if they do it for someone else but that is in their conscience not mine.

No not really in fact the very opposite I do something good for someone because I want to do it If i had a motivation then the good deed would no longer be that ...I do not try to please anyone unless you think that being honest,supportive,loyal and reaching out is expecting something in return and I donot Thanks for sharing Good Luck

yeah the more you expect the more you'll get disappointed. one way or another some expect that if they'll do good thing to a person, he must repay the same also. but for me, if i do good things to others i dont expect them to do good things to me also because i do it wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return. which shoul be right?...people should help wholeheartedly not because they want something in return though some are like that. i believe that God is around so He sees what we are doing. just do good and it will comes back to you. maybe not with the one you did good but from others. just do good wholeheartedly without expecting. takecare
