Back to the hospital for check up  | |  Following my eye surgery from yesterday I had to go back to Outpatients for a post op check. All is coming along well and I have to go back in one month for another review. In the meantime I have two lots of eye drops to put in 4 x day. One is an antibiotic and the other one is anti inflammatory. My eye looks like I walked into a door but it will soon settle down.

All is going well now my friend and I sure am glad that I had my eyes operated on. Before the cataracts were removed I was having quite a bit of difficulty, even just crossing the street caused me to worry as I couldn't judge distances very well so couldn't tell how far away a car was.
Thanks for responding to my post my dear friend, it is always a pleasure to read messages from friends whenever they pop up.

My father had this kind of cataract operation more than one decade ago, making his eyes worse that he is afraid to see the slightest sunlight outside. My mother-in-law also had her cataract operation and she does not feel any better, either. I feel so sorry for them.
