Do you look down on a site that lacks its own domain name?

I confess I'm a bit guilty of this. If a site doesn't have it's own domain name, it always ranks a little less highly in my mind. I'm not really sure why this is, especially since several of my favorite sites are simply hosted on subdomains of blogspot or other free-hosting sites. It's not that I like the websites less, but it always seems to influence my first impressions of a site.
