do you use FTP ?  

I mainly use it for managing websites and such, although sometimes I also make use of FTP over HTTP when it comes to downloading data.

For work I use FTP a lot to transfer files to another organisation. At home I use it for uploading stuff to my web site.

I use FTP with my brother who lives in another country
It helps us transfer big files faster plus if the transfer stops, we can simply start back where it stopped instead of from the begining

yes i use ftp, but only if when scp is not available. FTP is good for certain aspects of file xfers, but scp can easily be integrated into a script and have the copy command done automatically.

Just to upload my websites.

Yes i use it to transfer videos pictures etc. to my friends and family members.We can use it to load a website in the internet too

Yes, i do use FTP to transfer files. i use coreftp software which is free to use and a good software for this purpose. I use it to upload files into my website and share files between my friends.
