I heard today that Emile Hirsch (sp) was cast as Speed Racer. Hirsch played the character based on Jesse James Hollwood in Alpha Dog. Do you agree with this casting?
I came to know that the character was offered to Keanu Reeves earlier but he declined. There is a truth in this as the directors (the W*** brothers) had directed Matrix before. I also read Speed Racer bombed big time in its opening. So what if KR had filled the role ?
