Emile Hirsch cast as Speed Racer  | |  I heard today that Emile Hirsch (sp) was cast as Speed Racer. Hirsch played the character based on Jesse James Hollwood in Alpha Dog. Do you agree with this casting?

I also read Speed Racer bombed big time in its opening. So what if KR had filled the role?
