one of my favorite

The ending, though it was kind of tragic, was the one that made the movie really wonderful. It's a love story that is not really a happy ever after kind of thing. If the movie ended with Seth not accepting Maggie's death, it would not have been so good because it would leave the viewers with a heavy heart. Since Seth has a pure soul, his acceptance of his destiny made it not only a feel-good movie but a movie that we should be learning from to be able to carry our crosses in life and just taking that plunge to enjoy whatever comes our way.

I love this movie. It's about an angel named Seth who fell in love with Maggie, a heart surgeon from Los Angeles, and eventually gave up immortality so that he can feel the person he love. In this movie, the angels doesn't have wings that are roaming around in the sky instead they are everywhere wearing their black coat and watching us not from above but real closely. This is a good movie that will show you that love can really move mountains. With nice movie soundtrack, which includes the song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls wherein the lyrics is really appropriate with the movie.

I've seen this movie and I liked it. Though it has a sad ending.. But still, the love between Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage was so sweet. Imagine, having an angel fall in love with you and ready to sacrifice for what they are... just to be with you. I can't exactly remember Nicolas's words but it was like he will readily choose to be a mortal and be with Meg rather than be an immortal and spend an eternity without her....Well, something like that....

Great soundtrack too!

Definitely one of my favorite romance films!
