Becoming part of the Aged in the future.....

Recently there has been attacks on the elderly in the streets in daylight or in their own homes from ......demanding money and if the money is not handed over they are bashed! One man in a wheelchair with one leg missing was obviously an easy target. Are the streets filling up with drug addicts who need cash for their next "fix" and what easier target than someone who may not be able to defend themselves. Australia does give out benefit payments for those to survive so if for some it is spent solely on drugs what other way can they get it than take it! Their are the elderly who genuinely do not have cash on them but that does not stop the attacker from not believing this and therefore have to use this violence. I find this quite disturbing and will one day be "aged" myself but do not see it as something to look forward to if this is happening.

That's a very sad news and observation. All of us will really become old and as of now I am already in that stage. I hope that other people would not abuse and oppress those who could not defend themselves and could not even work to earn for their sustenance.

The world is changing too fast, and not for the best. It is scary, as one ages without all the crime on top of it. All we can do is pray and hope for things to improove.

It can only get worse until the way "LIFE" is concieved by society in general and society stops making excuses for "why" people do things that are unexceptable to society, choosing instead to change the future by working on the future (the children), they are what will be the behaviour of our future, so to change their attitudes is to change the future. Then maybe most of these acts of dispicable violence won't be an issue!
