Which is better between Microsoft Windows and Macintosh computers?  

I own a Mac, so I obviously like Apple better.

Here are pros/cons of each:

Macintosh

PROS:

• Very user friendly
• Excellent operating system
• Excellent quality of parts
• Isn't prone to viruses/trojans/spywars as Windows is

CONS:

• Costly (But worth it)
• Not all software is compatible for Mac
• Not all hardware is compatible for Mac


Microsoft:

PROS:

• The majority of software is made for Windows
• The majority of hardware is made for Windows
• Affordable

CONS:

• Isn't user friendly (This may change with Vista being released)
• Quality of internal parts may be questionable.
• Operating system is outdated (This may change with Vista)
• Prone to the majority of viruses/trojans/spyware

Overall, I recommend Mac as the superior computer. The new operating system being released later this year sounds excellent. It will have the ability to switch between using Mac OS/Windows operating systems. The new Mac Mini is relatively cheap and comparable to the cost of a PC.
