The Truth About Avatars

Avtars are the liking photos of the person uploading it.

As of now, my avatar is obviously not me, since I haven't uploaded any yet. Good thing you thought of this discussion. If I were to upload one, it would definitely be me. However, since I'm still new here, I really don't know how to upload one yet. If possible, could you kindly inform me how to upload my own avatar? Thanks in advance, sukumar!

I haven't got a picture of myself anywhere on the internet.
I like my avatar to be me if you like and so, on my lot I am a white cat with big green eyes and on other sites, I am other things.
I like the anonymity but I am not hiding my self I don't think,I just like to think I am the being inside the body,not the body,you see me when I write.

For me, this is my real photo which i just took in the beginning of this year.
It shows my real person and i am happy with it.
ALthough it is not perfect, i feel okay with it.

You should put up your real picture. I only have a picture of flowers on here. But, I do have family photos on my web page. I may add my real picture on here soon, if I can find a good enough one of me. LOL I never like pictures of myself.

I think you should post a photo of yourself so we can see who we are posting to. Don't be shy LOL.

I doubt if anyone thinks my dog (my avatar) is sitting typing this response.

here at mylot, i'm using my son's picture. however at yahoo, i have a cartoon avatar that i made basing on my own features except the body. LOL, i can't find a chubby avatar.

My avatar is a pix of some of my babies. These are Oliver & Rygel.

Mine is for real, me, husband and grandbaby. I need to dress in Garden Gerty's clothes and post a picture of her. My husband still has the generic green guy as his avatar, and he is nothing generic at all. I have a good pic of him I will post as soon as I learn how to download from my new camera.
