Sex Test to Determine Unwanted Pregnacy!  

I am like you, very concerned. This brings up the idea of discrimination based on gender. like in China, where baby girls are not wanted. Abortion has no place as a birthcontrol method. I am opposed to murdering babies, even if they are unborn.

I do not like the idea of that .I only think it is good for paternity and serious gentetic defects.If this is given an option to people it could end up like China where they abort the child if it is a girl.Which is sad.Every child has a right to live.It didnt do anything to anyone.It wouldnt matter to me whether I was having a boy or girl as long as it was healthy .But I would keep it if it had genetic problems too.I h ad a test with my son that they thought he could have down syndrome.They asked me if I wanted to do the on test to make sure if he had it or not.But the doctor sad if you want the baby no matter if it has down syndrome or not then you dont need to take the test.Which would be having a needle inserted into the belly.So I sad no I do not want the test because I will keep the baby no matter what.Well I worried some but when he was born nothing was wrong with him at all he was a healthy baby boy with no down syndrome.I think if people abort a child just because of a test that says the child could have it then the baby might not have had it at all.Tests sometimes I think cause all kinds of worries.I think sometimes it is another way for doctors to put money in thier pockets.

I have heard of this test being available.
But I don't think anyone would terminate a pregnancy just because it was not the s*x of the child they wanted.
I would think that it would give them added time to paint the nursery and prepare for the affival of the baby.
Maybe I am nieve and only look at the good side of things but I really don't think this should be a concern. Susan

I agree with you. As long as the tests are used to determine if a certain disease can be developed, I think it´s helpful. But it shouldn´t be used to find out the gender of the baby. Unfortunately women abort female embrions in China and India. These people have got no other choice.
But ordering a test from the Internet to find out if the baby is going to be male or female? It could have serious consequences. Some people might use it to decide if they want to have the child or not. Others might just want to satisfy their curiosity. After all, why still make this difference between boys and girls in a modern society?

The sex of a baby can be determine with an ultrsound.

DNA has help find criminals or let the wrong person arrested go.

I have never heard of the kit but if a parent wants to pay that much money good luck to them.
