Do You KeepPace With The Times?

You are so correct. If we are not willing to change with the times we don't grow as human beings. Change is good!

I try to keep pace with the changes. Sometimes however change is not always good. So if after trying something I find the older way better I switch back.

Don't I know this all to well, as much as I try to go with the flow....
I've got kids who don't take to change well....It could be as simple as having a meltdown when they spill something on their clothes (and they are well beyond the toddler, young years)
My 12 year old, my first middle child is the worst....the littlest thing goes wrong and she melts down. down to the very thing if you change what you had originally planned for dinner.

My youngest is the easiest one to deal with change...but sometimes I have to talk her down and explain to her why things changed.

I don't like changes....but I have to try to roll with the punches as saying and song goes....esp. with kids who don't deal with change well.

Time is very relative thing! It is a chain of passing moments after moments and it never goes back!

So when you are in perticular time then you are there and it is a reality! There are other possibilities and man has to explore regarding timelessness or beyond the time! What kind of aproach you have and how you go about all such is more important! Otherwise all teh things are relatively changing; knowingly or un knowingly!

Yes, I try to keep up with the changes of time. It is better to go along slowly and accept the changes as they happen, rather then to ignor them and get caught all at once unexpectedly.

I think change can be good in some areas and bad in others. I think sense different things appeal to some people that may not to others, it depends on when and what is changing. For me, alot of the music of my generation and the generations before mine, have alot more substance than alot of the music of today in popular culture. Because of this, I don't keep up with alot of the new music and I think this happens alot with people. It seems that alot of elderly people live life the same ways that they lived them while they were much younger also.

I try very hard to keep up with modern technology, I brought an mp3/mp4/digital recorder,movie player and spent the day just getting to know all the functions on it, it is only about 4inches long and boy it packs a punch with what it can do, I downloaded music, and a movie and a video and my grandson who is 14 said wow granny even I don't know how to do that. I got a computer and taught myself a bit of html and made my own webpage where I advertise some of the sites I get paid to read emails etc. So for nearly 60 I think I have kept up with the play of things. Also a week ago I had to get a new washing machine with all the whistles and bells so had to spend some time reading the instructions as it had so many different washes and programmes on it, I think it was harder than learning how to use the mp3/mp4 player. I think that you have to just go ahead and do it and not let it master you.

I love the idea that life is a never ending cycle of change and improvement.
My life is nothing like it was when I left my parents home and nothing like what I thought it would be when I left their home.
I don't know if I have kept up with the times but I know I am open to change as long as it is positive. Susan

I try to keep up with a knowledge of the changes in technology. It is not difficult with the internet for my source of reference.
We should not let ourselves get too comfortably stuck in a rut of the ways things are 'always done' as that would lead to fear of change and dislike of progress.
A good place to learn about new arrivals in the consumer products scene without having to actually buy everything to try yourself is a review site where other people who have tried the things will write a report about what they liked and didn't like about the thing. They can be a very good way of keeping informed.
