Heroes: Origins  |

|  NBC has announced its fall schedule and Heroes is, of course, coming back.
But there's also going to be a spin-off series, Heroes: Origins. Each episode of Origins will introduce a new character and then viewers will be able to vote on which one they want added to the cast of the main show during the next season. Both shows will add up to 30 hours of Heroes next season (which is cool.)
I think the new show could be fun. What do you think?

| |  That sounds like a great idea! I think allowing viewers to vote on which characters they want added will draw a lot of new fans to 'Heroes'. I'm sure our household will be tuned in to see what new characters the network will be able to come up with.

| |  I have only just found "Heroes" on our cable TV recently when I was surfing through the channels, as I don't get to watch too much TV, but if it's the same one here in the UK, it's the one where ordinary folk dress up like Superman and Batman, etc. and do their stuff? It looks like a lot of fun, but I guess here in the U.K. we are going to be a bit behind you guys over that side of the pond. :-)

| |  No, I think that's "Who wants to be a Super Hero?" or some such title. "Heroes" is totally different. It's a (fictional) drama aabout people who start developing special abilities and realize they are all involved in a plot to save/destroy New York (and by fall-out, the world).
You can go to nbc.com and I'm sure there is a link for the series, it's one of their biggest hits.

| |  I haven't watched Heroes yet, but l read an article about the spin off series Origins. I think it's a really good idea. Everyone seems to enjoy the voting aspect of tv programs these days, so it should do well. The cell phone companies must just love another voting program. I'm looking forward to Origins, im sure there will be lots of intersting people on the program this fall.
