The best thing to do is be active with the site yourself. The more active you are the more likely the people you refer will want to get involved. Just keep working at it and you will get referrals. Put your refferal link out there as much as possible on any site that it is allowed. A great way to get refferals is join in a discussion or visit forums, chats, etc and when they are discussing a particular subject find a good discussion on mylot about it. Then copy and paste the direct link to that discussion and add/?ref=your user name.
