What happened when you cooked food yourself for the first time?

instead of going to restaurant you could eat maggi of bread and butter.

Well when I was cooking the food for the first time then my elder aunt was guiding me and as she was a very good cook herself so under her guidance nothing went wrong and I was so proud of myself cooking the food.

LOL cooking is like a scientific experiment,you must add things gradually and keep watch.
I think your rice needed to go into a collander and have boiling water poured over it and it would have looked fine.
When I first cooked it was a bit of a task because it was a whole christmas dinner. My mother was not present but told me what to do and it was tolerable LOL
My cousin told me to take the spoon out of the trifle that I had put in the fridge unless I wanted to poison everyone:P

The first time that i tried to coo i set the cooker alight and i was only cooking a egg, we did not have use of the kitchen for about 5 days because it set the part of the bench alight because the kitchen was wery small and now i am not allowed to cook by the misses.

haha..you should have just saved yourself all the trouble in the first place. First time I cooked I baked a cake for a friend's birthday. 3 of us got together in my kitchena nd we created such a big mess that it took my mom 2 hours to clean up after us:) But it was a lot of fun doing it together.

Ok here we go I cooked up some Pork Roll and while I was doing this I put some Bread in the toaster. Well need less to say I burned the Pork Roll the Pan Then the toast got stuck in the Toaster so I put a Knife in it (still plugged in) And that was my first time cooking...LOL
Allways remember to unplug the toaster before you stick a knife or anything else in it...LMAO

yay!! your just like my husband instead sweetea get sour lol.Well my first time to cook is so bad I try to fried fish but it get too over cooked instead golden brown the color get in black.I have a lot of bad experience about cooking used my aunt got mad at me.

I did the classic thing and made cookies but instead of suger I accidently used salt. I will never forget the look on my Mom's face when she tried one. She tried so hard to pretend that it was the best cookie she had ever had.

i can no longer remember when was the first time that i cooked. my mother taught me early in life. i was not even 5 years old yet when she taught me how to cook rice and fried fish. slowly, i learned other more recipes which we normally cook and eat on a daily basis. my father taught me others where he was good at, also. i have never been good at baking, though. i had only been exposed to it when my second child attended hotel and restaurant management. they cook a variety of cakes and other recipes which we do not normally do at home.

I don't remember when I was the first time that I cooked food,my mother taught me at 7 year old yet.I first cook meat,My mother said i cook very delicious.I am very happy!!
