 So next week is my daughter's last week of school and I am kinda excited, kinda not. I know she will get bored really easily so I am already lining up things for us to do during the Summer. I am looking forward to spending time with her. So parents are you excited about school getting out or do you dread it??

I am glad in a way because I won't have to pay munch money for 3 months and I will have her home to help me around the house a little bit. My daughter always says she is bored no matter what she gets to do. I am looking forward to having her around but I am so used to working online daily without anyone here. She likes to talk my head off sometimes, laugh out loud. I don't really dread her being home but she will always want to go some place every day and make plans daily instead of helping out around here.

2.  sunshine4 (6288) | 3 years ago |  Wow...my kids still have 5 weeks left of school. I am looking forward to them being home for the summer. I still work during the day, but we will spend time at the pool. We will go on many picnics and also to the beach on weekends. The kids do tend to get bored after a while, but they survive. We also have a summer vacation planned so that helps:)

| 3. 4cuteboys (2890) | 3 years ago |  I am excited partially because I like having them home, and all, but I know I can't entertain them as much as they would like and they will be bored! And another part of me is glad that we don't have to rush around in the mornings, or send the ridiculous amounts of lunch money! But part of me is going to miss being able to go grocery shopping with only 2 kids in tow instead of 4!

| 4. kathyj (2475) | 3 years ago |  Today was my daughters last day of preschool my son doesn't get out of school until next Thrusday. I am hopeing to do some fun things with them this summer like takeing them swimming and to the park and we plan to go tot he Childrens Museum and probaly see a couple movies. I do look forward to spending time with them but also it will make things harder to get done like my chores but oh well.
