No confidence vote on AG Gonzales

He did nothing that went against his position. He was pulled into a farce of a "hearing", then accused of lying to the clowns in Congress.

The Democrats are no better than the drive by shooter who seems to hit everyone but their intended target. What they want is Prs. Bush, VP Cheney and Karl Rove's heads, but since they can't get them, they'll settle for distorted crap... you know, the kind of stuff the incompetent press feeds on.

My biggest problem with him is that he let a situation get out of hand that should have been easy for him to deal with.

All he had to do was tell those democrats that the prosecutors were fired because Bush wasn't satisfied with the job they were doing.

Instead he let it turn into an opportunity for the democrats to embarrass Bush, which is exactly what they were hoping for.

To me this is a major screw up on his part and shows that he can't handle the job.

First of all, I must tell you that there is a deep running double standard in America. There is so much Bush hatred that when any of his cabinet members does anything it is portrayed in a negative light. What AG Gonzales did was he fired some US attorneys. This is a practice that has gone on in every administration. When Bill Clinton's AG Janet Reno did it, you didn't hear the Republicans crying fowl and so the Democrates should do the same. But as I have always said Conservatism is rooted in logic, Liberalism is rooted in emotions. I hope that this has helped you out and if you need any more help please respond.
