Do you hang pictures in your rooms? If so, what type of photos or pictures.

I don't know how to hang pictures and my husband seems to lazy to hang pictures. We still have some beautiful pictures my brother brought me for Christmas but I cannot put them in the Nursery because I don't know how to. They are Winnie The Pooh ones.

I love having photographs of my family around me. There a couple of pieces of art that have been given to me. One in particular I chose when I was a teenager and went to an art Exhibit with my parents. It hung in their home until recently. It came to me since I chose it. It matches well with my decor.

Another is a photograph we took on our honeymoon of a sunset in Prince Edward Island. We had it blown up to poster size and plaqued on wood. It is a beautiful photo and also matches our decor in our livingroom.

My desk is surrounded by photos of my children as well as two paintings I painted when I was a teenager. I wake up in the morning and look at pictures on my bedroom wall, of my kids of course.

I have past art exhibits in the mall and wish I could afford to purchase one or more of those pictures, usually nature scenes. I don't really care to have a picture of a horse's head on my wall.

i put up paintings by our local painters which i won in a raffle.it has appreciated through the years which i cherished.i like them because i am in acquaintance with them so it is somewhat personal.like a memorabilia of my artist friends.

I have both paintings, litographs, antique dolls and photo's on my walls.

The only religious thing I have is a mezzusha(sp?) hanging by my front door because all Jewish people have one.

Mine is made of broken glass and metal and it has the
10 comandments inside of it.

Me and my hubby, we both like to hang pictures in wal of our home. The good thing is that we both have almost same choice. We do hang pitures of our family. I also like paintings and nice photograph of natural beauty to hang around me. We do hang few calenders with nice photos on it.

I love hanging art and photos on the walls, it gives your home another dimension and makes it feel lived in. Im a photographer so I take a lot of pics and matte and frame them for the walls, as well as having a lot of family photos on the walls too. Have a lot of arty farty stuffs up there as well.

Most of the pictures hanged here in my house are oil canvass paintings. Flowers, houses, abstract form and fairies. I also have a handful of my girl's photos and their achievement certificates. I don't like to place too much as it tend to make my house look crowded and smaller.

We have a lot of pictures about our house.
In our bedroom we have a picture of the river in eccles,with a nice old bridge and the town and church in the background.It is a print of a painting.
In the stairwell we have the drawings of wildlife I did at work in the evenings before I went home each day. They are A3 size and pencil on white paper. My daughter has Harry Potter posters and a few pop star pictures and my son has a couple of colour pictures of the soldiers in afghanistan and a nato map from the recruiting tables in town and a big undersea poster with a whale.
Downstairs we have a drawing I did of our son aged about 1 and a photo my husband took of my daughter about that age.

I have a variety of pictures on my walls throughout my house. I have family portraits everywhere it seems, plus the occasional cat or kitten picture, plus my husband loves pictures of semi-trucks so we have a few of those as well as some fantasy type pictures of unicorns, wizards, and dragons. Like I said a variety.lol

My wife has pictures of the kids, grand children all over the place.

And she likes pictures of wolves (big dogs..ugh!) and eagles.

I am most fond of the wall of fame.

We have a big chunk of wall with pages of construction paper laid every which way on it to make a big colourful mat.

On top of all that are laid pictures of the family and family specific things. Randomly and in no particular position meaning they are not symmetrical and look something like a big family collage. It was fun to do.
